Buying at the right time: a reseller's calendar

The same products do not sell year-round. Planning a season ahead changes margin as much as negotiating price.
Spring starts in February
Sun protection sells from the first bright days, not in July. Ordering in June means arriving as demand falls and buying prices peak.
The rule is constant: order a season before the peak, sell during it, clear just after.

Winter belongs to rich textures
Balms, very rich creams, cleansing oils: demand switches as soon as temperatures drop. It is also when atopic skin sees the most consultations.
Large formats stocked at that moment turn over fast, because it is a purchase of necessity, not pleasure.

The base that never varies
Between the peaks, everyday products keep the cash flowing: cleansers, large-format moisturisers, hair care, household cleaning.
A healthy assortment is roughly two-thirds base and one-third seasonal. The reverse exposes you to flat months you cannot recover.
