Planning your commercial year in four phases

The peaks are predictable. What separates a good year from a hard one is anticipation.
Two peaks, two troughs
The weeks before Ramadan and Eid, then the September return, concentrate a large share of turnover. Between them, demand falls noticeably.
The rule is simple: buy during the troughs, sell during the peaks. The reverse costs both in purchase price and in lead times.

The base that funds the troughs
Everyday products — cleansers, large-format moisturisers, household cleaning — provide steady income between the peaks.
Without that base you fund the next peak's purchases with cash you have not yet rebuilt. It is the main cause of difficulty for beginners.

The end-of-season review
After each peak, note what sold out first, what remains, and what people asked for that you did not have. That last list is worth more than all the rest.
Season after season it builds the assortment that genuinely matches your customers — rather than a catalogue.
