Combination skin: treating two skins on one face

Cleansing can stay single if it is gentle. It is hydration that must differ: a light texture on the T-zone, a richer cream on the cheeks.

Using a rich cream everywhere sustains shine; using a mattifying gel everywhere dries the cheeks and causes tightness.

Blocked pores concentrate on the nose and chin. That is where an acid works; on already-dry cheeks it only irritates.

Localised application twice a week gives better results than more frequent all-over use.
