Teenagers: a first routine, without overdoing it

The classic mistake is treating them like adults. Two products are enough to start.
Two products, no more
A gentle cleanser morning and evening, a light moisturiser. That is all teenage skin needs in most cases.
Adding strong actives at the first spot often produces irritated skin that makes even more sebum.

Moisturiser is not optional
Oily skin still needs water. Skipping this step triggers sebum overproduction and visibly worsens shine by evening.
A light, non-comedogenic texture is enough and sits well under sunscreen.

When to see a doctor
Painful, deep lesions, or ones that leave scars, are not a cosmetic matter. The earlier treatment starts, the fewer permanent marks remain.
Delaying two years trying over-the-counter products is the mistake that costs most in the long run.
