Household cleaning: four products are enough

A full cupboard does not clean better. What you actually need, and what duplicates.
One all-purpose, one degreaser
An all-purpose cleaner covers 80% of surfaces. A degreaser handles where it fails: extractor hood, hob, worktop after cooking.
Using a degreaser everywhere is waste; using an all-purpose cleaner on baked-on grease is a waste of time.

The bathroom has its own constraints
Limescale and humidity call for a specific formula. A bathroom product works on deposits without attacking the grout, which a kitchen degreaser does not.
For the toilet, a foam that clings to the sides works longer than a liquid that slides to the bottom.

What matters for resale
Cleaning products are restock purchases: low unit margin, but high rotation and a complementary basket. They bring the customer back between two cosmetics purchases.
The shelf criterion is fragrance and format far more than the technical claim — that is what triggers repurchase.
