The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum 30 ml

A reformulation of The Ordinary's most loved hydrating serum, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 hydrates instantly and visibly plumps, while smoothing the look of texture and fine lines. This updated formula has a slight yellow tint compared with the previous one, due to the addition of a ceramide blend. This is the natural colour of that new raw material.

The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 delivers instant plumping hydration for softer, smoother, healthier-looking skin. The lightweight formula boosts the skin's hydration levels, nourishing it throughout the day and helping the skin retain moisture to visibly push back dryness. It also supports a feeling of suppleness and elasticity, while minimising the appearance of fine, dry lines.

This formula contains 5 forms of hyaluronic acid, which together deliver powerful hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant naturally present in the skin, where it binds to water. The forms included are low, medium and high molecular weight molecules, a cross-linked HA polymer and hydrolysed HA.

The formula also contains ceramides to help maintain hydration. Ceramides are lipids (fatty molecules) naturally present in the skin that help nourish the skin barrier so the skin stays protected and hydrated. The ceramides used in this formula are known as sphingolipids.

Provitamin B5 contributes to the formation of key skin-barrier components such as ceramides and fatty acids, which helps maintain hydration and therefore keeps the skin hydrated for longer.
